Intermediate calisthenics class

Tuesdays at 8:30PM

Intermediate Calisthenics class bridges the gap between beginner and advanced class and focuses on Muscle up Acquisition. Students in this class have built a strong foundation in the beginner calisthenics program or have already been training calisthenics on their own and have a solid foundation in their pulls ups, push ups, dips, squats, hollow body positioning and basics of handstand. In order to take this class students will have completed a full cycle (6-8 weeks) of beginner calisthenics classes or they may speak to coach MikeMike about entering class based off their previous calisthenics experience and training.

Students will also focus on freestanding handstands, bent arm presses and weighted calisthenics. We will also build a strong base for planche, front lever and back levers for your static skills. Included in this program will be programming discussions with homework suggestions for training beyond class and emphasis on competitive style sets and reps endurance training or streetlifting if students have ambitions of competing in either as time goes on. This class is perfect to anyone looking to level up their calisthenics journey but doesn’t yet have a muscle up.
